EA Sports Announces EA Sports FC Will Replace FIFA Name in 2023

EA Sports announced its exclusivity partnership with FIFA ended in October 2021 sending the community into disarray. Fans were unsure whether or not a name change would signal the end for the franchise’s dominance in the space, on top of what the next game would even be called. That uncertainty is now answered and even pushed back a year further with one more title to have the FIFA name.
