Despite its initial release in July 2016, Pokémon GO continues to receive large content additions that radically transform the nature of the game. One of these additions Niantic made was adding raid boss Pokémon, which are large Pokémon that require the help of several trainers in order to take down. In return for taking down these Pokémon, players receive the opportunity to catch them, but they don’t always get a chance to exchange them between players.
