Despite the launch of Pokemon Go nearly four years ago, Niantic Labs has still made the decision to deny some of its audience’s beloved Pokemon their shiny palette. There are several Pokemon in-game that cannot spawn as shiny yet. There isn’t a real reason for this. Some non-shiny Pokemon have unique properties such as hat-Pikachus or flower-crown Eevee—meaning that they are already unique on basis of their altered models. However, this isn’t always the case.
