The best Quick Move for Tyranitar is smackdown. This can only be taught using an Elite TM. If you don’t have one of those on hand you can always use Iron Tail instead. For Tyranitar’s Charge move, you can pick Stone Edge if you want max damage or Crunch if you want a Ghost-type killer. Either way, it will still be resistant against Ghost-type moves, Crunch will just make it easier to kill them faster. This might be especially helpful for mining Mega Gengar Energy, once Mega Gengar is released during the Halloween event this year since the amount of energy gained is based on the speed at which you finish the battle.
