According to Chief Producer of the Tekken Project Katsuhiro Harada, the trailer was “taken directly from a certain part in the current work-in-progress Tekken 8’s story mode, played on PlayStation 5.” All models, backgrounds, and effects are the same as the ones used in-game rather than pre-rendered footage.
